เมื่อวันที่ 3 ตุลาคม 2561 สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงบราซิเลีย จัดกิจกรรมเนื่องในโอกาสวันคล้ายวันเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษารัชกาลที่ 9 วันชาติ และวันพ่อแห่งชาติ ประจำปี 2561 ณ โรงแรม Royal Tulip Brasília Alvorada โดยนายสุรศักดิ์ สุภารัตน์ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้กล่าวสุนทรพจน์เน้นย้ำถึงความสำคัญของวันที่ 5 ธันวาคมสำหรับประเทศไทย ได้แก่ วันคล้ายวันเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษารัชกาลที่ 9 วันชาติ วันพ่อแห่งชาติ และวันดินโลก นอกจากนี้ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้เชิญวงดนตรี FIVERA จากประเทศไทยไปขับร้องเพลงชาติไทยและบราซิลและเพลงสรรเสริญพระบารมี เพลงพระราชนิพนธ์ในรัชกาลที่ 9 เพลงสากล ตลอดจนบทเพลงชื่อดังของบราซิลในสไตล์โอเปร่า เพื่อเป็นการเริ่มต้นการเฉลิมฉลองครบรอบ 60 ปี ความสัมพันธ์ไทย-บราซิลในปี 2562 รวมทั้งมีการแสดงมวยไทย การฉายคลิปวิดีทัศน์ประชาสัมพันธ์ประเทศไทย และการจัดเลี้ยงรับรองอาหารไทย โดยมีผู้เข้าร่วมจำนวนประมาณ 300 คน ประกอบด้วย คณะทูต ผู้แทนระดับสูงจากภาครัฐ และเอกชนของบราซิล เช่น วุฒิสภาชิก Fernando Collor ประธาน Commission on Foreign Affairs and National Defense และอดีตประธานาธิบดีบราซิล กลุ่ม Friends of Thailand ชุมชนไทย นักเรียนแลกเปลี่ยนโครงการ AFS ในบราซิล และสื่อมวลชน

On 3 December 2018, the Royal Thai Embassy in Brasilia organized a reception to celebrate the occasion of the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand at Royal Tulip Brasilia Hotel. H.E. Mr. Surasak Suparat, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Brazil, delivered his remarks reiterating the importance of the 5^th of December as the day to commemorate the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej, Thai National Day, Thailand’s Father’s Day and World Soil Day. The event was entertained with performance by FIVERA, a famous and talented singer group from Thailand, singing Thai and Brazilian national anthems and musical compositions by His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej as well as other popular songs including Brazilian ones. The performance was to kick-start the celebration of the 60^th Anniversary of Thailand-Brazil diplomatic relations. Other activities include Muay Thai demonstration, video clips promoting Thailand and Thai food tasting. Approximately 300 people attended the event including diplomatic corps, high level representatives from both public and private sectors of Brazil including H.E. Senator Fernando Collor, President of Commission on Foreign Affairs and National Defense and former President of Brazil, and friends of Thailand and local media.
