On Thursday 26 October 2017, the Royal Thai Embassy organized a Sandalwood Flower Laying Ceremony for the Royal Cremation Ceremony of His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej at the courtyard of the Royal Thai Embassy.

His Excellency Mr. Pornpong Kanittanon, Ambassador of Thailand to Jordan, led members of the Diplomatic Corp in Jordan, the Embassy’s officials and staff, the Thai community in Jordan and members of Thai-Jordanian Friendship Association, about 100 people, to lay sandalwood flowers. The Sandalwood Flower Laying Ceremony was organized at the same time as the Royal Cremation Ceremony in Thailand. An exhibition in tribute to His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej was also displayed at the Ceremony.
